I look at photos taken when I was about 30 years old. "That's me" I tell myself. The old guy I see in recent photos isn't me at all.......

If most members were retired baby boomers the very popular and active employment and job search forums would be empty.

A job. For some people, no, it's not the same. I am a baby boomer with a job.

Right. Not retired and hopefully I will always be working (at the very least, part time) as long as I am healthy (mentally and physically, of course) and able to do so. But that's just me.

Are most people on C-D a retiree or Baby Boomer?

I'm neither....... a misfit, as usual

I'll be 77 in a couple of months, and work from my home office 50-60 hours per week, with deadlines I'm obligated to meet. The only reason why I'm on CD is because my job involves working in "the field", then returning to my office to prepare reports from my computer. CD is a little break for my brain now and then, when my work becomes complicated. Back to work for me!

Not all retirees are Boomers. Plenty of retirees born before the mid 1940s are not considered Boomers, but are still kicking. Also, believe it or not, Gen Xers (born from the mid 60s to mid 70s) who have been fortunate and/or wise in earnings and investments are already at early retirement age.

I'm a boomer but not old enough to be retired yet. I have three years before I can collect my pension and Six years before I get SSI and Medicare.
