Today's Lunar Question(s):

moon affect sanity. Is there a time, circumstance or thing that you think makes people (even more) crazy?

Because they weighed so little astronauts on the moon could jump up to 22 feet high.
If you could do that here on earth, what would you do with your new superpower of jumping so high?

On the moon things weigh 1/6th of what they weigh on earth. Here's a website calculator: Weight On the Moon Calculator
In a separate tab you can use the website above or on a calculator you can multiply an earth weight by 0.167 to complete the following:
"What do you know. My ____________ would weigh _____ on the moon."

Anything else moon related you'd like to share or skip ahead?

Foodie Question(s):
Little Debbie makes an excellent version of moon pie that currently beats the original imo.
Do you remember or have you had moon pies?

Other people.

Because they weighed so little astronauts on the moon could jump up to 22 feet high.
If you could do that here on earth, what would you do with your new superpower of jumping so high?
Since I run long distances, and in 1.5 hours training I'll run 10 miles, I'd run for 1.5 hours with huge strides. I would love to see how far I can get in 1.5 hours.

On the moon things weigh 1/6th of what they weigh on earth. Here's a website calculator: Weight On the Moon Calculator
In a separate tab you can use the website above or on a calculator you can multiply an earth weight by 0.167 to complete the following:

Anything else moon related you'd like to share or skip ahead?
There's an historical solar eclipse coming to the U.S. next month courtesy of the moon.

Foodie Question(s):
Little Debbie makes an excellent version of moon pie that currently beats the original imo.
Do you remember or have you had moon pies?
I remember them, and had them when I was younger. But with yodels, whoopie pies, Hostess cup cakes, funny bones, they were lower on my list.

Do they sell Little Debbie snacks where you live, and if so, which ones have you tried or liked?
Yes they do, but it's been a very long time since I've had any.

Just for fun:
Are these things cool/nifty or neutral or not so cool or you tell us.
What do you think of:
-The way auctioneers talk or chant will taking bids? Cool and funny
-Non-fiction books describing travel? I don't read much, so I'm neutral
-Fad dances, like the hustle, the macarena, etc.? They're Ok for a while until they're relegated to weddings, parties,etc.

Have a wonderful Thursday all.

Many moons ago, I worked on what was referred to as the 'confused' floor in a nursing home-if we couldn't handle them they went to a psychiatric hospital. Before that, I thought the idea of the full moon affecting people was crazy. After that, I saw it as reality.

Because they weighed so little astronauts on the moon could jump up to 22 feet high.
If you could do that here on earth, what would you do with your new superpower of jumping so high?

Nothing. I hate heights. I'd scare myself, jumping that high!

Today's Lunar Question(s):
As you may you know calling someone loony or lunatic comes from thinking the phases of the
moon affect sanity. Is there a time, circumstance or thing that you think makes people (even more) crazy? It has to be a combination of hotter weather and a full moon.

Because they weighed so little astronauts on the moon could jump up to 22 feet high.
If you could do that here on earth, what would you do with your new superpower of jumping so high? Get Frisbees/newspapers off the roof and rescue cats from trees.

It has a Sea of Tranquility. The moon also affects the ocean tides.

Do you remember or have you had moon pies? I sure do. Back when I was a kid, they were called "scooter pies."

Do they sell Little Debbie snacks where you live, and if so, which ones have you tried or liked? Yes, they're sold here. My favorite is the Swiss rolls. I've also tried the brownies and little frosted snack cakes that are seasonal, like the Christmas ones with red or green candies or sprinkles.

People who work in hospitals and prisons often report that things get weird around the full moon. I don't have any idea why that should be so.
Because they weighed so little astronauts on the moon could jump up to 22 feet high.

Today's Lunar Question(s):
As you may you know calling someone loony or lunatic comes from thinking the phases of the
moon affect sanity. Is there a time, circumstance or thing that you think makes people (even more) crazy?
I don't think crazy--but I think the full moon changes the atmosphere which can effect people. We see the changes in the Ocean with a full moon--of course it would change people. I can always guess when a full moon is happening--there are more crying babies/toddlers.

Anything else moon related you'd like to share or skip ahead? The Moon is a beautiful thing

Foodie Question(s):
Little Debbie makes an excellent version of moon pie that currently beats the original imo.
Do you remember or have you had moon pies? When I was little I am sure I had one.

Do they sell Little Debbie snacks where you live, and if so, which ones have you tried or liked? Yes they do--however this is Tastykake region--even when I ate those sweet things in the past it was Tastykakes and only Tastykakes!

Just for fun:

What do you think of:
-The way auctioneers talk or chant will taking bids? Very fascinating to listen to!
-Non-fiction books describing travel?
