With all those foot users posting in the thread we need another thread to identify how many CD members have perfect balance while standing on one foot and the other is raised high in the air? It could be an ugly sight should someone fall over in the restroom stall and land in the toilet or on the floor.
No thanks - NOT ME!
If the handle was low and you were actually in a stall you could kind of lean against the side

At home I flip the light switch with my foot for no other reason than just to do it.
When I was growing up, my mom said to always use my foot to flush the toilet in a public restroom. I still do that. I don't want to touch the handle with my hand. It never occurred to me that anyone would not use their foot to flush!
Also, I figure the handles that are low and stick out at the side are intended for foot use. Otherwise, there'd be a push button or different sort of handle and they would be at a height where one wouldn't have to bend down to use them.
.
I am a foot flusher too. No way I would touch that filthy thing with my hands.
Using toilets overseas get a little tricker, many have those two buttons built in the wall for #1 & #2, and you can't push them with the foot. No reason anyway, most restrooms I have been to are sparkling clean.
And I love their NO GAP stalls.
I don't understand why we need to have those gaps, and what's the reason for that....

To hell with halfway measures! Just grab a fistful of Imodium before leaving home and your bowels should stay snug as a bug in a rug long enough for a cross-country bus trip with a two-day layover at Yellowstone.
I wouldn't be keen on having my floor-foot barefoot in the toilet stall. There seems something real contrary about this particular method as demonstrated. Do you swish your bare foot around in the recently flushed bowl before putting on your shoe and sock again?
