LOL... that's a good one Power Surge! In the past, that seemed to happen by itself because of poor workmanship by one or two nuts on the assembly line!

Have given this some thought this evening and finally realized that no, I do not have any words of wisdom that I live by. Oh, sure, I've heard many phrases that I thought were apropos given a certain situation, but nothing has ever struck me as being 'mine' to live with. The 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you' is about as close to any phrase that I may have thought about from time to time.

I have read most of the posts here and find many interesting. It is similar to reading a book, many words strung together stand out and you remember them for awhile as being poignant, sweet, breathtakingly inspiring, and worthy of repeating. But, no, no earth shaking phrases or words of wisdom of my own. Darn it. Now I feel a tad bit empty.

Well Nwoods maybe your subtitle should be "It's an Empty Life" instead. just kidding o course.

Okay I thought of a phrase, although I do live by the Bible. When I find myself wanting to critisize someone, etc ... which I do a lot. You can just shove a sock in your mouth and be friendly by saying .... "To each his own."

A phrase my Dad said a lot when I was a teen.
The only thing we own is sin, everything else belongs to God.

My SS teacher once said and it has stuck with me ( The Lesson was on gossip)
How to control your tongue breath through your nose.
