This was called "handwriting" in my elementary school. When my grade declined to a "C" in handwriting", my mom made me practice writing daily until it improved. She made me write a page worth of things I liked, ideas, etc. On the next report card, I received a "B" in handwriting. It stayed that grade until junior high (when we were no longer graded in that area).
We called it penmanship too but it was only taught in elementary.
I don't remember model Ts but I do remember when all cars were black and then they started coming out with colors. Even 2 tone! (I think that cost extra but not sure)
Who remembers: two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun?
Spoiler
not that old, I know...

It was called cursive writing where I grew up. A good thing to know how to do.
