I also remember something about Disneyland. I remember when I didn't have to sell a kidney to afford the price of a ticket.

I believe that thing was designed so that the red ball will eventually (or immediately) end-up in your eye.

I do remember shorter lines but the last time I went to Disneyland, we had to actually buy a ticket at the gate. We didn't have computers in the home. Tells you how long ago that was!!!

And when we got a new pair of skates, we'd take one of the old ones apart and make a scooter out of it.

Like this . . .
Take:
1 Orange crate
one skate taken apart
nails
1 piece of wood 24 inches long for the handle

No batteries required for hours of fun in the fresh air and sunshine.

The 'E' tickets' were not electronic tickets, they were when Disney 1st opened in the 50's they were the original tickets in a coupon book along with the regular coupons in the book. You could buy the book of tickets at a discount vs paying individually at each ride. You could bypass the line of people waiting to buy a ticket at each ride. The 'E' tickets were for the special rides at the time.

Here's a ditty about the tickets and that era.

Is that what they were? Guess that tells you how long it's been for me. I didn't even remember what they were called. I just remember buying a book full of tickets.

I also remember "E" tickets. Those were the good rides, like the Pirates.

Yes, and we always came home with a few A and B tickets because those were the kiddie rides.

I know we already said it, but I will say it again. I remember POP. (Pacific Ocean Park) Just barely though. I was too short to get on the roller coaster. I don't remember what city it was in though.

I remember the paddle being applied to a certain part of the anatomy after the "string" broke....
