Seeing the plans for Disney World with a model presentation at Lake Buena Vista, then going to visit it by car while I-95 in Georgia was incomplete and you had to drive a two-lane road section of U.S. 17 to rejoin it.
Going out to meet people as a teenager without any appointment via Smartphone or whatever. Just went out, and surprsingly, other people were there too.
I can remember the end of World War 2. No TV. No rock n Roll. Cars with no a/c. Telephones attached to the wall with a cord and the handset attached to the dial component. Powdered toothpaste. Milk in a glass jug delivered to the front door in the morning. Very little, if any, plastic. AM radio only. Only one piece bathing suits for women. Dads went to work and moms stayed at home at worked harder. In other words, I'm older than dirt and the real "good ole times" were gone a long time ago. https://youtu.be/7E88RUqyjts
