And curb feelers too.

Fender skirts were kinda a pain to remove and put back on if you had a flat.

Yes, and years ago flats were much more common.


Leaving fender skirts on in a northern winter and discovering the lever was frozen in a ball of dirty ice was a real pain when you got a flat.

North Korea pulled that childish stall tactic several times.


Seems North Korea was in no rush to end the war.

I have pictures of my old bunker ,(today's DMZ zone. Wonder if the well is still there...kept our 3.2 beer cold. Do think NK was running low of troops in 52 as we were shooting at Chinese troops. All those responsible then have passed away.
different generation now.

Speaking of the chevy impala, we had a '59 (i think) 4 door red n white one. My dad would take the fam to Santa Cruz for 2 weeks for our vacations...and then my brother , the oldest of us kids went and put flames on the car....lol..we were so cool...lol

I had a 59 Chev ,4dr BelAir 6cyl Powerglyde tranny. Good gas mileage. Car was economical back in the early 60's.

A real economical car was those 6 cyl Chevy BelAir with a stick and overdrive.


A co-worker bought one from an old lady in the late 70's.


That 20 year old car lasted him a long time.

When the first sold them they were wrapped in wax paper.. to keep the double stack from falling over they placed a collar around it.. it had the Logo plus Did you know factoid on it.. a quiz
