I remember doing that! wow.

I am not that old but I do recall:

Having to wear a dress to school

buying meat by the cow at the butcher shop (not the
piece)

fuller brush guy coming door to door

Milk delivered daily

Having the same mailman for years and giving him a present at Christmas time every year.

I remember walking to the local Utotem convience store (which was a new business then) and for about 25 cents getting candy, bubble gum, and two cokes.

I remember Kula Fran and Ollie on TV

and speaking of TV the huge floor TV Set that when turned off the picture went to the little white dot that seemed to burn into you eyes if you stared straight at it.

paying cards on bicycle wheels to make the sounds.

I remember when the Legend of Boggy Creek came out and scared my sister witless for days. But then again I recall when "The Birds" came out on TV my sister moved her pet bird (parakete) into another room and covered it so it wouldn't get any ideas.

I am so old I remember when Pong was the very first video game and we thought that was exciting.

I remember going to the beach and airplanes would fly by with banners promoting something.

I remember when as kids we walked without parents for long distances trick-or-treating and not worrying about the candy or wierdos.

I remember when people often took Sunday drives after church.
