I'm so old I remember when eggs didn't have "use by date" stamped on the shells.

I remember going to the chicken coop(and around the barns) and collecting eggs.
Sometimes we found a hidden nest filled with rotten eggs and us kids having rotten egg fights with them.

I remember taking the steam train to school.

Watching American Idol the other week when the contestants had to perform Beatles songs I was gobsmacked to hear a bunch of them say they didn't know any of the Beatles songs while a couple said they didn't even know who the Beatles were.
