I still remember that glue with the red rubber top... it was in a dark brown bottle and it never made anything stick. I think they used it at the post office too.

I've used an old "Sears Roebuck" or Montgomery Ward catalog for toilet paper before. This was on my aunt and uncle's farm and they had an outhouse.

My sister and I also cut out figures of women from them and then cut out different dresses to make paper doll clothing for them

Paste used to come in a small jar with a lid that had a brush built into it for swiping the paste onto whatever you were pasting.

Jolly Rancher candy that was like a flat stick. They were about 10-15 cents. Green apple and watermelon were my favorite ones. They had other flavors too but I can't remember what they were.

I'm so old I remember watching the moon landing on tv in 1969......and watching Saturday morning cartoons when they were actually good and they were still cartoons. I also remember watching "The Monkees" on Saturday mornings.....I was in love with Davey Jones. Peter Tork was pretty cute too.

I remember when I was a girl the folk were so superstitions they would not let u certain things for example walking over a straw broom or letting a baby look in the mirror. U know some of that stuff was funny, but how serious the old people were about was kinda scary.
