I'm so old I remember when Rick Allen "Def Leppard" had two arms.

I'm so old I remember my parents paying $25.00 a month for rent. A 5 room apartment, above a drug store in St. Louis. Classy place tho'. Bay window in the living room. Back entrance to the yard, French doors between living and dining room. Walk in pantry off of the kitchen. Hardwood floors throughout. Black and white ceramic tiled bathroom. Try to find anything like that now.

And party lines! Picking up the phone to hear two old gossips just going to town, and wishing they would hurry up, and get OFF the phone.

And you could get away with making a prank call, but they were harmless -- calling the local grocer's to ask, "You got Old Albert in the can?," and when they'd say, "Yes," coming back with "Well, don't you think you better let him out?!" Or, calling someone at random to ask, "Is your refrigerator running?"

Can you remember the punch line to that one?
