I remember the country school I went was 1 small building, 1 room, 6 classes and 1 teacher and an outhouse. With a paddle on the wall that said on it "THE BOARD OF EDUCATION.......TO THE SEAT OF UNDERSTANDING".

I'm so old when I went to school they only had two R's to teach. It wasn't until years later that they got the 3rd one for teaching the 3 R's.

Remember the copy machine used to be a Mimeograph copy where you typed or printed all the information on a blue sheet of waxy paper known as a stencil that ran through the machine and allowed ink to come through onto the white paper to provide the text print.
Otherwise you used carbon paper between sheets of blank white paper.
