Oh great Karla you're making me think. And as hard as I'm thinking I honestly can't remember the last movie I saw in theatres....... I used to go a lot! But I'd rather watch them at home. Plus a lot of new movies now just suck to be quite honest. However, the plus of going to the movies at the theatre is the popcorn. You can't make anything like movie theatre popcorn at your house. That stuff is the best -- I remember being little and my mom would take me into a theatre just to get the popcorn and we would leave. (you didn't have to get the ticket first)

The last movie I saw in theater was The Titantic. I thought it was super beautiful and the music was awesome.

I prefer to stay at home with Pay Per View for $4.95 sitting in my lazy boy chair.

Snacks? I love eating PIZZA and watching a movie. Second choice is chocolate candy -
M+M's will keep busy! :-)

I was talking to a friend yesterday and she said she wanted to spend the day going to the movies. So thats was the inspiration for

Todays 3 part question:

What was the last movie you saw in the theater ?

Extra credit : Do you prefer watching movies at the theater or at home ?

Triple credit : What is your "movie snack of choice" and do you sneak snacks into the theater?

lol I am making you all work on International Goof-Off Day

Today in history:
March 22, 1903 Niagera Falls runs out of water because of a drought

Word of the day:

remunerate \rih-MYOO-nuh-rate\, transitive verb:
1. To pay an equivalent to for any service, loss, or expense; to recompense.
2. To compensate for; to make payment for.

Today is:

National We Love Broccoli Day - not this we !!!
and
National Sing Out Day
It is also
International Goof-Off Day !!!!!
I saw The jumper in the theatre, as the last movie I saw. I went all by my lonesome!

You know.... I really like to watch them at home, I like to get all snuggly and just do what I want and whatch at home. An occasional peek at the big screen is all good, too.

I have never snuck food into the theatre.

I love International Goof off day! YAY

Movie: Under the Same Moon at a free screening...very touching and the child actor is the sweetest thing since cotton candy!

Rather watch movies at home where I can cuddle under the blankets.

Yes, I've taken water bottles into the movies (refuse to pay $3.00 for a water) and sometimes candy.

Favorite snack is the buttery popcorn that clogs the old arteries....so, so good.

The last movie I saw was Happy Feet with my grandson. The movie before that was with Will Smith, I think it was Bad boys? When we came out of the theater our car was stolen!

I saw Rush Hour 3 back in September, with somebody we all know.

I have a home theater system, big screen HDTV, with 5.1 Surround-Sound, so I'd prefer to watch movies at home, but once in a while I'll go to the movie theater.

Yes, I snuck in snacks .. (hey those words go well together! ) back in my teen years because I didn't want to pay those ridiculous prices they charged at the theater, even back then! Let's see.. I also snuck in popcorn, pop bottles, Kentucky Fried chicken, beer.. (I'm only kidding)

Speaking of sneaking things in, back in 1976, when Led Zeppelin's movie Song Remains The Same was in the movie theaters, many people kept the usual tradition of smoking the funny stuff during concerts, so they snuck it into the movie theater.. Yeah.. by the time the movie was over, many of us were a little buzzed from second hand smoke!

Cloverfield.

I feel like I BARELY go to the movies anymore. There is never too much that jumps out at me.

Usually have other plans, am working or renting movies on-demand.

I also like a lot of weird indie flicks which I would have to travel into Philly or NYC to special theaters, so I wait for DVD or OnDemand Indie Channels.

Why is today Goof-off day???? I miss out because I am having a housefull tomorrow..

I have an exciting life, Last movie I went to see was Alvin and the Chipmonks.......I am a sucker for buttered popcorn and salt....

If I celebrated National Sing-Out day, I would definately crack some windows and fine china so I will refrain.

Have a great Saturday all!

What was the last movie you saw in the theater ? I can't remember, it's been a while, I think we went last year. We may go today

Extra credit : Do you prefer watching movies at the theater or at home ? I like the theater but my wife likes home so we watch at home.

Triple credit : What is your "movie snack of choice" and do you sneak snacks into the theater? Popcorn is good, we don't sneak food in but I would have no problem doing it, I have a friend who does it all the time, the whole yard, burgers, burrito's and drinks.

Oh wow another brain burp!!!! Many years ago a date and I had a prime rib dinner in NYC-afterwards we went to see a James Bond movie with our "doggie-bag" of the leftover rib bone. We sat in the balcony happily munching on our leftovers.
