Cool Interesting music, cars, and memories

I checked in the automotive, music, and other forums but feel that this topic needs to be here for everyone to enjoy.

Old cars, hot rods, music, magazines and great memories on this link.
The Cars e Drove In The 50s & 60s

I would not try this link with dialup internet service.

Thank you , thank you. Oh the memories this brought back! I remember racing the 1/4 mile on the unfinished section of Hwy 40 in St. Louis county with my '48 Pontiac. And the two summers of drag racing in MO and IL. Talk about fun! the music. Everything and we had '66' right here in Pacific Missouri. Where it flooded the other day. Yes, cars were better then, I think. At least you could tell them apart. Too many now look too similar.

Well, I missed the cars from the era of the late 1950's and 1960's, I started driving in 1974, but it's nice to look at those classics from the past.

In one of the pictures, they were talking about "the latest technology" or latest something, and they had a regular telephone (with the rotary dial) sitting on the rear deck of a car, and the caption was referring to the latest technology, it said "Car phone"...

I remember hearing terms like "Fins", "Continental Kits" and other stuff from guys who had older cars in high school and college.

Shouldn't admit it but we had a Pink Caddy with fins and all that we bought used. Comfortable ride, heavy car, but a real gas guzzler. Also had a '56 Chevy that I wish I still owned. Fun little car. Thanks again.

I was born in 1969, but have always loved the cars and music from the 50's and the 60's. Especially older Cadillacs. I love anything nostalgic, old diners classic car shows etc. I guess im an old soul. Thanks AksarbeN

My dad had a 1962 <(I think) Black Chevy Impala, it had the wings and I think it had 3 round tail lights under each wing. The interior was red and white. I still love that car.
Bring on, "Led Zepplin", "Three Dog Night", and "The Who". And I'm happy. Still remember Paul Revere and the Raiders, and band member Fang. Ahhh Yessssss the good ol days.
