A/C has been on for about a week here but I think I am behind my neighbors by a month or more. In our home we all like it warm to hot so agreeing on 78 as comfortable indoors is easy.

Lately the weather here has been very nice and we havent had the need to use either. We can usually open the slider upstairs (just a few inches) on the balcony and leave it open all day, then we open the living room window just a few inches, and that allows some cross-ventilation all day.

Todays question:

Are you using heat or A/C today ?

Today in history:
April 3, 1882 Wood block alarm invented, when alarm rang, it dropped 20 wood blocks. Well that would wake me up !!! hmmm wonder if that is where the expression "pick up your blocks came from"

Today is:
National Chocolate Mousse Day
It is also

hmm does that mean I have to pull out my old tweed skirt to go buy my chocolate mousse
Central air.

No A/C on yet,,, but it’s coming. Yesterday I had the unit serviced and checked out for the season. I’ve got a great tech who takes care of all the check points on it and keeps it running every year. Our temp’s are getting up in the mid 80’s so it’s only a few more weeks and we’ll being seeing 100+ .

Mrs. AksarbeN and I always settle for the same settings for heat or cold. Except in the car or truck ~ we’ll have our differences.,,,,,,, I tell her to put the window down and hang her head out but she never does..

Heat. Haven't heard the A/C since early October, probably won't again until May or June.

Well, considering that we have a few inches of snow in the forecast for today - it's heat winning out over AC! We probably won't turn the AC on until July. We get a great breeze and the humidity is so low here in metro-Denver.

My wife and I agree on temperature. We typically have it set around 65-68. We've been able to turn it off a few days already which is a start! The in-laws always complain that it's too cold when they come to visit.

No chocolate mousse for me...does a chocolate protein shake count?!

Heater here. Although one day here it can be the heater and the very next it might be the a/c. Hubbie and I set it at 72 for the winter months and 78 for the summer months. We pretty much agree on the temp.

And I agree about the heat in the truck--we seem to never agree there either! Hmmmm, strange!

Are you using heat or A/C today ? Nope, during the winter we use our fireplace insert except on no burn days...right, I won't use the AC until we really need it.

Extra credit: Do you and the other person or people that live with you agree on the same temperature setting for the above mentioned ?
Nope, I pay the electric bill so I tend to ajust the temp to save money, everyone else tries to stop globale warming, I've woken up because it was so cold in the house a polar bear was trying to get in I bought a locking cover for the thermostat, It didn't go over very well.
