No door mats. Just an old multicolored rag rug at the front door.

Two door mats, both plain. I would love some peach cobbler and I'm gonna blame someone else for not making it!

A third mat is outside the door into the garage, and it was one of my favorites -- just a nice design in a thick coir mat that has since faded but I can't part with. Once-pretty fall leaves in warm colors I am drawn to.

Ditto. Ditto. Ditto. Three mats.
Real question when is National Cheese Day?

Todays question:

What does your doormat say or look like?

Well, Happy B-Day to Rdslots a day ahead of time!!!

Door mats? We have too many. Live in the country and house is a 'split-level' built on a slab. No Basement and no steps leading to the doors. Front door has 2 mats, 1 cocoa brown with scroll design, 1 black rubber (for the mud), 2 to the 'office', 1 is also cocoa brown w/black design and also a rubber mat. 1 for the back door, 1 each for the 3 doors leading to the balcony off of 3 of the bedrooms.

Hmmmm, we are either really clean or really dirty! Oh, and 1 that a son gave us in the shape of a big beetle with cocoa brown and black boot scrapper material. This all came about, I'm sure, when my husband had his construction business and would run into the house w/o taking boots off first! once in awhile.

Had some licorice yesterday. I like it. No peach cobbler today. No peaches!
and glad that everything is ok w/you karla. Someone once told me that you always show up!!!

We had 3 doors before we moved out of our place in Texas and all three mats were the tannish looking straw type stuff.
I like the peach cobbler day. That can be everyday.

Outside the front door: just a nice design. It's a large mat specifically made to trap dirt, etc and let water run off. Works fairly well. North facing door with little protection from the rain and snow. Another "carpet" mat inside the front door.

In the garage a "scrubber" mat to get all the junk off. Inside the garage door a large "carpet" mat to catch what the one in the garage missed.

One inside the back door. Used mainly when I'm doing yard work. I am a messy sort....

Hi everyone.

We just have a simple doormat in front in the shape of a half-circle. It probably needs to be replaced soon. It's one of those items on the "Next Time We're At Lowes" list.

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday.

Charley

Mornin Karla, my friend. I haven't been on lately due to a number of reasons, the first of which is that I have been super busy ...teaching two seminar classes a day and working towards the closing of our beachfront property to which we will be moving permanently in late May or early June.

First, please allow me to digress and answer yesterday's mini question: Where is UncleBatz ...well, the answer is... I am the former UncleBatz ....having changed my User Name to one more appropriate to the move and the return to our beach lifestyle. That being said..
......

Todays question:

What does your doormat say or look like? .
.Front door mat says "Welcome". Back door mat says "Protected by Smith & Wesson".

Extra credit : How many doormats do you have around the house?..

Today is:
National Peach Cobbler Day...got to get that recipe from cynwldkat in "What's For Dinner Tonight?" thread.
and
Blame Someone Else Day...next door neighbor again .
also lets not forget
International Plant Appreciation Week[/quote]...thank you to all the plants in our yard.

I thought I would post today as a courtesy to Karla and to let folks know I am alive, kicking and well...but on to many things in the real world. I'll return to post whenever I can.
