Having dessert first semms sort of sacrarelegious (sp) IMO. so never for me. Dessert only on special occasions and then maybe to go or if I can talk the server into delivering to the house about bed time.
Oh, had a Polaroid and a Kodak Instamatic, gave them to a guy with a camera collecion.

Have you ever ordered dessert first when you have gone out to eat?
No, I haven't. In fact, when I think about where I might want to go out to eat, I don't even think about what might be for dessert ... and as I ponder that now, it surprises the heck out of me

There are times when I see a real nice dessert,what I do first is order the dessert,tell them to put it in a to go box. Then I would order the food,eat half of it and eat half the dessert after,then I would take them both home.This way I would get the dessert,instead of not ordering at all. So don't put your eggs in one basket! do half and half

i never think of dessert either when i am picking a place to eat. isnt it funny--although i will always find a dessert i will like once it's time--lol
