Having dessert first semms sort of sacrarelegious (sp) IMO. so never for me. Dessert only on special occasions and then maybe to go or if I can talk the server into delivering to the house about bed time.
Oh, had a Polaroid and a Kodak Instamatic, gave them to a guy with a camera collecion.

Have you ever ordered dessert first when you have gone out to eat?
No, I haven't. In fact, when I think about where I might want to go out to eat, I don't even think about what might be for dessert ... and as I ponder that now, it surprises the heck out of me

There are times when I see a real nice dessert, what I do first is order the dessert, tell them to put it in a to go box. Then I would order the food, eat half of it and eat half the dessert after, then I would take them both home. This way I would get the dessert, instead of not ordering at all. So don't put your eggs in one basket! do half and half

Good idea Izzy, but I'm trying to get the cute server to bring it to my home. Heh, heh.
