Good morning one and all!
Favorite project that I did for half the Winter months is prunning. Least favorite is running from bees and snakes. Everything else is just relaxing. My dh is on the riding mower right now.

I like the black and red jellybeans.

Beautiful day out, let's all go out and enjoy it.

BTW what is river rock?

AliceT, just move to Union County, NC. We are not allowed to wash our car. We have to take it to the car wash.

Todays question:

What is your favorite "outside" chore ?

and because inquiring minds want to know, I will also ask

What is your least favorite outside chore?
Favorite outside chore.. Turning on the sprinkler systems?.. Hey, it's easy!

Actually, I like grilling/BBQing on mesquite. There's nothing like a mesquite- smoked rib eye steak!

Least favorite chore, cleaning up the mess from 2 trees in the front yard. In the spring, they are very messy! The landscaper gave me a choice of trees when my house was built 10 years ago, and if I had known they're that messy, I would have gotten something different!

G'mornin All! Well, my wife LOVES outdoor work, I grew up hating it. So we've actually come to a nice compromise; she does the gardening while I keep her company. (I do help out with raking leaves and other really big chores, though). Least favorite outside chore: Listening to her talk about transitive verbs while gardening! (She teaches German & English to middle schoolers)

I love to mow the lawn, put on my headphones and I'm good to go! Like a couple of the other posters, I'm right along with them for least favorite-picking up dog poo!

Jelly beans, love Jelly Belly's!

Another one hear that really enjoys cutting the grass. Great exercise. Least favorite, shoveling snow or snowblowing. That's why hubby kindly takes that chore.

I have noticed that there are a lot of folks that have been venturing outside starting the "spring clean up"
So with that and the fact that it is Earth Day I am curious to see how you answer

Todays question:

What is your favorite "outside" chore ?

Today in history:

April 22, 1914 Babe Ruth's 1st professional game (as a pitcher) is a 6-hit 6-0 win
April 22, 1970 1st Earth Day held internationally to conserve natural resources

Word of the day:

lionize \LY-uh-nyz\, transitive verb:
To treat or regard as an object of great interest or importance.

Today is
:

National Jelly Bean Day
it is also
Earth Day !!

My favourite outside 'chore' would be tending to a garden or gathering firewood for the woodburning stove. (I remember those days and when you do it as a family it was actually fun). My least would be sweeping the patio.

As for the jelly beans, bring 'em on!!
