Growing up in California, I used to spend so many evenings on the beach, building fires to keep warm, and star gazing forever. I just love the salt air.

Thanks for the memories!

This has been a fun read...and yes, I have been guilty of several of these...but I thought it was because I am getting senile. ;-)

Regarding the skirt stuck in the pantyhose posted by RDS.

I had a boss years ago who was the meanest, most vicious person you could ever meet. Well--she emerged from the ladies room skirt stuck, butt exposed and none of us mentioned a thing as she made her way to an important meeting. I know it's was mean-but hey paybacks----------!!!!!!!!!! I'm really not vindictive but boy did we all feel good.

Let me assure you all here, I am not, I repeat, I am NOT, LaceyEx's ex-boss with my ex-panty hose and my ex-panties and my ex-skirt caught-up in a wad.

LaceyEx, I like the way you think. Especially if this was a mean, vicious, nasty, ugly person. So deserving, no?

And I have an elderly, sweet dog, that I seem to be constantly picking up little acorns off the floor, poor thing. Did you ever have a dog do something, in public, and you played the ole Inspector Cloiseau bit? "That's not my deug?"

Yeah, I had a dog named Beau, and he was kinda dumb. We were at a lake, and other people had dogs there as well. Beau was more of a scaredy cat than a dog, so when a little chiuaua started chasing him, he beat it. He kept looking back to see if the little mongrul was still after him and ran right into a tree. He wasn't hurt, thank goodness, but it was funny as heck!

Didjaever walk in on anyone in the bathroom?

All puns intended, I suppose.

Walk in on people in the bathroom? When I was teaching little 'thugs' -- I mean that affectionately -- in an In-School Suspension Program, the kids used to think it was funny to not flush the toilets. The boys in particular for some reason. That, and I would hear them in the restroom clowning around, water running and the like. One day, they were particularly wound-up, and I holler into the bathroom that on the count of three, I'm coming in.

They didn't think I'd do it.

I just asked if I was going to have to stand in the doorway here, too, and keep an eye on them.

My older brother's friend dared me. I just exposed one cheek, it wasn't like the Full Monty or nothin'. My brother got embarrassed (no pun) for the both of us and slugged me.

Did you ever...watch a drunk person put the wrong side of a lit cigarette into their mouth?

Yes, but they weren't drunk! Those filters really smell when they get lit!
