Or when they take a drag and go to pull it out of their mouth but it sticks to their lips and they burn their fingers.

Yes that’s happened and I couldn’t stop the itching until I removed the shoe and scratched. Very hard to do in the wrong places.
Have you ever got into a checkout line only to find that the others move faster, and even after you change lines you still remain in a slower line no matter how long you wait or stay there.

That was when I realized I left the egg boiling and the water evaporated.
When I was 8 years old in 1965, my mom had something cooking on the stove top, and she forgot to open the can.. We had a cat back then, and I walked by the kitchen, and I saw him running very fast out of the kitchen, and he hid under the bed in my parents' bedroom. My mom saw him, and she wondered what he was running from, and less than 5 seconds later, we heard a loud noise in the kitchen. The can exploded and the stuff in the can was all over the kitchen walls and the ceiling!
I guess cats have a sixth sense for realizing when something bad is about to happen.

Oh yes, when in College I was living off campus in an apartment, and my cooking, like now consisted of meat most the times. I had started cooking a pan of hamburgers in the oven with the broiler. Nice fat hamburger sizzling away when I got a call from friends at the Beach wanting to go fishing. I was dressed and out the door in a flash and when I remembered the hamburgers I was 5 miles off shore. The burgers had turned into a black tar, and my apartment had smoke damage.
Have you ever worked a hard day come in and fallen to sleep only to wake up at dusk thinking it was time to be back at work?

Aksarben, consider yourself lucky, at least the itch wasn't in an area where it would have been embarrassing for you to scratch!

Have you ever gotten up out of bed, get all ready for work, almost head out the door, and finally realize youre not working today, or its a holiday, or its Sunday?? Its probably easier for those who live alone to do this because no one is there to remind them what day it is.
Yes, Im working today, gotta go help people 'build something together' lol.

LOL.. I've done the opposite, slept in on days I was supposed to get up and go to work because I thought I was off.
