I think my fingers have fallen asleep today! I messed up on a few words, not to mention the year. I joined in "late May of 200" ? Did they have forums back then?
Of course I meant to say I joined City Data in late May of 2007.
The last part of message also, I meant to say that I'm also a member on 2 aviation forums, and 2 forums for gun enthusiasts, which I visit 3 or 4 times a month.

You are like me. You've just got to get it right before it gets written into Cyberworld for all of eternity to be viewed by all for the rest of eternity!
Thank goodness for the Edit button. I've edited posts before that I just knew were going to get me infracted, then I got in trouble for that too because they thought I was trying to double-post or something.
We should really have our own personal sub-mod proof read these before we hit that dreaded Submit Reply button. Me anyway. Mine should say, "Are you really sure you want to go through with this?

What scares me is thinking some of this stuff may come back to bite me in the behind. I wonder. . .
I have been sending out resumes, to no avail.
You think? Naw, this is just my 'paranoid self.' As opposed to my silly self, or my serious self, or my curious self, or my many other self(s). And some don't think multiple personalities are 'for real.'
Get 'real.'

Mike,
This forum is much more fun/enlightenining. When you made your first post her on a thread I don't remember, I got spanked by the then AZ forum mod. for being OT when I welcomed you to the forum. Oh well

No other forum compares to CD as far as I am concerned. I do belong to 2 others, 1 for Mac and another that is health related. Of course neither of them has the variety that I find here. Nor the vast information, entertainment, and friendly people. Most everyone here seems to be down to earth and friendly with no personal agenda. I appreciate this in this forum.

I really like this forum for the variety of topics. There is one very small one I like a bit better, but it is a forum for people who live in a town of 6,000. Unless you live there or are planning to, it couldn't be that interesting. But, a feature I like is that it automatically sends you emails when someone posts to your thread. I think you could also get updates on any of them. Oh, and then Trulia has a forum of sorts that was loads of fun when I was buying a house.

This is the only one, my friend. None could compare, in my book, so what I do, is go to different boards within the C-D realm.
YAY for CD!

I go to lots of other forums but just to get quick answers. Mostly computer related stuff and real estate related on occasion. I find this forum is the best because of the wide range on information that can be obtained, in addition to the moderation. The other forums that have little or no moderation are terrible because you have to scroll through a bunch of spam and nonsense posts to get to the good stuff. On City-Data it's all good stuff.

1 other one for cooking but I forget about it and rarely go there!
CD is the first thing I open when I get on the computer each morning. And if I can't get on the computer for a day I have withdrawals.

I go to a couple of other forums, but this is definitely home..I appreciate it that there are so many different forums here that I can go to for answers, for advice, and for a good time when I need a laugh..I appreciate it that the threads are moderated so well as to keep them on topic..But the real reason I stay here is because this is where my friends are ..Seems we are a little unique, because we make the effort to know each other and therefore some of us are free to allow our real personality out that for many reasons we may have to hide from the rw I think we really care about each other here on cd..
