What ticks me off? The billing dept of almost any medical practice. I had both back and open heart surgery last July. I am still trying to get the bills, which I do not owe, paid. How can a provider bill for treatment, on consecutive days of same hospital stay, to two different insurance companies. How can an insurance company use one formula to pay a provider 6 times. Then on 4 additional bills, for the same treatment, use another formula. After a call they agreed the 4 were incorrect and changed 1. One of the reasons medical bills are so high is that the people doing the billing don't have a clue.

Yup!

Been through that one after surgery. A person with a name one letter different than mine (first name - last name the same) had a similar surgery on the same day, by the same doctor. Some whiz in Billing decided it was a typo and dumped it all on my insurance because my name was the one they thought was spelled "correctly".

Idiots everywhere, I swear...

Unhappy weeds and butts

Pulling weeds in the yard tends to tick me off. I spent an hour out front and had a bucket full of them, as well as cigarette butts that get dropped off when the cars stop. I live on a corner lot with a stop sign and it seems that people enjoy dropping off the end of their smokes at the curb or in the yard instead of their ashtray.

I get the trash tossers too. Im out in the country but Im not far from the interstate. They seem to like to toss all their empties before they get on the interstate. I get quite a can collection sometimes. What gets me is they dont care if youre out there or not. Ive been tempted to toss it back. Dang . I wish my aim was better.
