Yes, grandmas do tap dance! Took lessons as a child from our local park during summer months. Loved it and the big taps on our shoes. Parents didn't tho'.

Dh is doing his normal work schedule 12 noon until 11 P. M. I plan to vacuum, dust, iron, shampoo the carpet in the car and if there is any time left I may sit on a lounge chair on the patio. I am not going anywhere near the aquatic center. Our class is cancelled, so employees can have a little time off.

I am in planning mode for our next vacation, so I have to get everything ready for that.
We have reservations in Branson, now I just have to figure out what to do when we get there. We are planning three days on the road, so the vacation starts when we leave home. I don't like to rush when I travel.

BTW Gas will cost more than the hotel rooms!

Default Ncn/branson

Branson is about 4-5 hours south of where I live. Have you checked out the Missouri-Springfield/Branson threads? Wonderful area and so much to do and see!

Thanks, NWV. I live in a state that it takes more than a day to go across too. Western NC could not be any more different than Eastern NC. They even voted different in the Democratic Primary. West, Clinton; East Obama. I grew up in Northwestern NC near the intersection of highways 16 and 421 and now live about midway across the state near highway 74.

We got to sing out at church today. We sang, "God bless America" twice. Our church service goes overseas to a lot of the military men who have computers, so we really had a good Memorial Day Service today in their honor too.

I'll be tap dancing and singing to "My Baby Just Cares for Me", by Something Smith and the Redheads and cutting a pork loin into chops to cook tomorrow. Mrs Stude makes the potato salad I handle the grill and we will have family (9) for A Memorial Day dinner. No wine thank-you, unless you spell it with an h.

A good chunk of my Memorial Day was spent delivering groceries to louisville. Oh well. I could've taken the day off, but decided the money was worth it. Alos enjoyed listening to the radio folks that were stuck working. They all did a great job!
