It sounds like a poor person's alternative to gastric bypass surgery.

Doesn't sound good at all - I could take 5 bites of a Krispy Kreme 3 times a day and drink gallons of no-cal soda - I will not lose weight nor will I be healthy.

Which brings to mind another idea - how long could you stay on this so-called diet? A Few weeks? That's not a well-planned weight-loss method. I realize it's trying to teach portion control, but I personally think it's doing it in the most irresponsible manner.

Oh, that's just silly and I think it must have been invented by my old college roommate. She used to go on pickle only diets. Or, carrot stick only diets. She was thin, but had no muscles. Just flesh on bones - disgusting. At least, by taking only 5 bites, she has expanded her diet.

One of these days, people are going to realize it's about movement and eating real food in normal-sized portions.
