from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.


When you thought I wasn't looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.


When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and
productive person when I grow up.


When you thought I wasn't looking I looked at you and
wanted to say,'Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking.'

I LOVE that poem, it made me cry reading it.I am raising my grandaughter and some days I get alittle frustrated, but THANK YOU for reminding me "she is watching me"

Just an idea for father's day. I love the poem Bones posted. I plan on taking the poem,putting a picture of my grandaughter and her granpa hugging on the bottom or side, of poem and taking water color paint and putting her hand over the poem for a "personal"touch.She is 4 yrs old, and at it's something she can do ! Just an idea!

It's beautiful, Bones. I haven't been around too many children in my life, but felt compelled to let you know that I appreciated the message.

To the cashiers in my small town local grocery store:
When you thought I wasn't looking, you patiently waited and smiled when you counted out the correct amount of change in the slow elderly man's trembling hand, while he held up everyone else waitng in line,
and I learned to smile and appreciate every elderly person in our community.
