Paula, I am so sorry that you are having to walk through this. I hope you have people you can talk to in person, who can give you a physical hug too.

I pray that the Spirit of God will comfort you, and will even speak encouraging words to you through people, through your dreams, through His Spirit, and all of His Creation. Of which you are an important part. So IS your sister. She is just fullfilling her destiny in Heaven now, and for all eternity! We will join her one day. (If you have any bad, gray, colorless dreams, they are not from God, just emotional and other physical stuff working out. Don't dwell on them.)

Don't think that God is impersonal, mean, or doesn't care. He does deeply.
His heart is so huge for you and all of Creation, that is why the Bible says God is LOVE. Don't let 'religiosity' or people turned off by 'religion' (Jesus was!) discourage you or cause you to doubt in His goodness to you and His ability to walk you through this time and be 'a present help in time of trouble'. Just ask. And I'm asking for you if you are too sad and tired. He understands that too. So I ask for a very real, tangible presence of God's Love to manifest to you, and comfort you and give you vision for a good future. To heal your heart thoroughly, (which takes time, don't try to make it rush!) and give you a joy that is unspeakable, and totally NOT understandable. Just peaceful, loving, satisfying living. And that you will be able to FEEL again (in due time) , with even more passion. (DO NOT feel guilty for feeling sad! You are uniquely, and wonderfully human!, and your emotions are created for a purpose.) You WILL love and live again!

I'm so sorry for your grief. It is so hard when we feel just overwhelmed with those deep hurting feelings. I think God surrrounds us with support and love that we need. We all share these hurts in our lives maybe so that we can comfort and support each other in their times of need.
My mom passed away a few years ago and silly as it sounds it occurred to me that 100% of people lose their parents. We share so many common experiences in our lives and we need to be there for each other.
Love your neighbor as yourself I guess.
