Woman, 52, sues Victoria's Secret, claims injury from defective thong
JUNE 17--As she was attempting to put on a Victoria's Secret thong, a Los Angeles woman claims that a decorative metallic piece flew off the garment and struck her in the eye, causing injuries and a new product liability lawsuit against the underwear giant.

Dinged By A G-String? - June 17, 2008

******** this all about? This lawsuit sounds like it could get hairy but I find it a crack up. Do you think she's all wet? Or is she just paying lip service? Does she want another thong? Well, we all know that two thongs don't make a right. Well, maybe she should get her rear in gear and just split.

My guess is that there should be instructions telling people not to put the thong over their heads and that it may cause injury to the face. Proper use of an item should always be provided by the manufactures. I think she has a claim but if I were on the jury I’d want to see a demonstration of just how the accident happened. Also did anyone see MMike there at the time it occurred? He could be a witness.

Many might think this is a frivolous lawsuit, but not me. The economy is in the dumps and those poor male lawyers need some cash to pay for their mistresses' lingerie.

I'd love to read the Answer to the Complaint, Interrogatories, etc. on this case. I have a feeling she was trying to shove ten pounds of sugar in a five pound bag, maybe we don't want to see this demonstration.

I'd like to sue Victoria's Secret too, everytime I put that stuff on, my husband turns into this crazed attacking madman

The economy is so bad that first they want the shirt off your back, and then they want your lingerie. When will it stop?

Hey, I had nothing to do with it, I didn't see or touch anything! I was at Frederick's of Hollywood when it happened.
