Hats, I do have a few, I keep three ball caps in my sports car so when the top is down I can still have a sun visor, and it keeps my hair from getting into rat tail knots. One is tan and has a boat logo. It is really good for the beach; one is tan with a fly (fishing type not insect type) great when just tooling around, and than one is red so I can match the car.
I keep one Jr. Leaguer hat in the car for my Wife, but most time she will have a hat which matches her shoes, belt, and handbag. I do have a few hats for formal occasions too. They are the fedora style and make me look some what Italian. I seldom use them in summer, but when cold will wear them just to keep warm. In the last few years I have bought a few summer straw hats which I hope will keep the sun off my face. I think that covers all of my hats

Some mornings (when my hair looks like I've been dragged through a hedge backwards) I'll wear my Strata golf cap when I go walking. It's better than scaring the neighbors!

I'm late chiming in but here I have two favorite ball caps, a Boston Red Sox cap and a Life Is Good cap with a daisy on it....I love em.....we have a couple of Jeeps and often have the tops off them, so the caps save my scalp from burning to a crisp---red hair, red scalp? horrible combination!

You know, in all of that discussion of hats, I forgot to mention my thinking cap.

Did anyone think, while wearing their thinking cap(s), of all of the other hats we wear? I have my wife hat, Mom hat, former teacher's hat, friend's hat, sister's hat, daughter's hat . . . oh wait! I do recall mentioning my witch's hat -- got 'em all covered, then.

I work magic in these hats, you know.
