BERLIN, Germany (AP) -- An American hiker stranded in the Bavarian Alps for nearly three days was rescued after using her sports bra as a signal, police in southern Germany said Monday.

Berchtesgaden police officer Lorenz Rasp said that he helped lift 24-year-old Jessica Bruinsma of Colorado to safety by helicopter on Thursday after she attracted the attention of lumberjacks by attaching her sports bra to a cable used to move timber down the mountain.

Saw this on Good Morning America. Clever girl to tie the sports bra to the rigging and run it back down the mountain, I thought. Glad she was dressed again by the time they rescued her -- she had disrobed to let her clothes dry-out?

I often wonder if I could keep my wits about me like that.

I don't know RDSLots, if she disrobed out in the Alps, she would have frozen her Wits off!

LOL.. But they both have one thing in common, they're both made to support something.. or two things!

I didn't even know there was such a thing a "Sports Bra". How's that any different from a regular bra?

Also, if you switch the letters "R" and "A" around in Bra, and you'll get another thing men like to talk about, Sports Bar!
