Todays fill in the blank Question :

Now I remember why I don't like going back to work after vacation, it seems they are waiting for me to get back so they can punish me for having fun

Don't forget you have to tell us details as to what provoked this "epiphany"
Knowing many of you, there should be some great "stories"

Everytime I get back from vacation there is always something special going on that just works your rear off, it seems to just wipe out the relaxation you just got, within 3 hours of being back last night I was wishing I was still on vacation

Nasty hangovers, hugging the porcelain throne, dry heaves....

Now I remember why I don't drink anymore.

I didn't know what to write till last night, but didn't make it back to CD:

Now I remember why I don't let Mr. Poconoproud make spaghetti sauce.

He let it boil...you can imagine the mess, no?

LOL... I've done that also! In fact I was posting on City Data when I realized that the pasta shells I was cooking and the sauce had been on the stove for too long!

I've also done that one other time a few years ago, when I was making hard-boiled eggs. I left them on the stove and the water dried up, then all of the sudden I heard what sounded like a small explosion! When I got to the kitchen, I had eggs all over the place!

I think I must have gotten that gene from my mother. When we were kids, my mom was heating something up on the stove, and she forgot to open the can. We had a cat back then, and we saw him run out of the kitchen as fast as he could, and run into one of the bedrooms, he sensed exactly what was going to happen, because in a split second after he ran out of the kitchen, the can exploded, and it was loud!
