Happy 4th of July !!!!!

Safe travels for those loyal posters who will be traveling today

I had to chuckle when I saw it was "Barbecued Spareribs Day" because when I got up this morning I asked Mr Karla if he wanted to pick up some baby back ribs to put on the grill because you sorta have to grill on the 4th so see now we have to (I will make myself a steak not a ribs fan)

So of course you know that got me thinking and it ended up as

Charley's Chocolate Chiplote Chucksteaks are marinating in the fridge as we speak. Unfortunately, it looks like rain and thundershowers for most of the day, so we might be cooking indoors today.

I hope that everyone has as festive a "Fourth" as possible.

P.S. Sidewalk Egg Frying Day (I have always wanted to try this) ... it works, but the bacon doesn't get crisp enough!
