What is the most common misconception about you?
In real life or online.
In real life mine is that I'm stuck up. In reality, I'm just socially awkward and don't feel comfortable enough to really talk to people until I know them. I'm actually not stuck up at all.
I don't know if there are any misconceptions about me online, probably because I don't really participate in many forums enough for anyone to form a misconception about me.

I think the most common misconception about me on City Data is how I feel about Houston. It's no secret I hate the weather, but some think I hate the entire city, which is not true. Some think I have a miserable life because of this, not true. I just don't care for Houston, it's not for ME, doesn't mean it isn't right for other people, we all have different likes and dislikes.

Most people thing I am an outgoing clown. I make jokes about everything. I have performed in front of 20,000. I have spoken and sung to small groups in a small intimate setting. I have appeared on radio and TV. I am in fact very shy. Humor hides my nerves.  |

I think some may think of me as gullible, passive and easy to fool. After relationships where I'd been fooled and walked on and controlled for years, decades, I've learned a lot and have developed a dark and very protective side...one that you DONT wanna mess with! (ghost, hoooooooooo!)

No real idea. Sometimes I think people think of me as being an extrovert because I am a Realtor when in actuality I am a shy person. Give me a good book and a quiet corner of the woods.

Ah yeah, and another misconception about me in real life is that I'm confident and don't get easily rattled. I've always been able to put on a brave face and make out that I'm cool as a cucumber about everything but I actually get very nervous very easily and usually about really benign things too.

I have no idea what the most common misconception about me here on cd is...unless everyone thinks I am always nice and never get mad at anyone  I can be a little sarcastic in rl when someone really aggravates me, and I have an Irish temper, that just has to come out in the open once in a while..In rl I am pretty quiet and somewhat a loner who takes a book somewhere outside, on the deck or up the hill to the tree line and lose myself in reading.. With my daughters I like to have lots of fun, lots laughter, and lots of girl talk  |
