Good morning everyone
Happy Monday
I hope everyone had a great weekend
Yup going to be a HOT one here today in NE FL they are now saying 98 with a heat index of 105

I know Monday is our traditional "To do list" day, But I received a DM from one of our loyal poster giving me a great idea for

Todays Question:

Have you ever malingered?

If so

Bonus Question :

What was your most "creative" malinger ?

Extra Credit Question:

Who is willing to admit they had to either look up "malinger" or find out from others posts what it means ?

The "to do list" will return tomorrow

I was hoping malinger was the word of the day, but alas I had to look it up.

My most creative? I guess I'm not very creative when it comes to that, I just feign a headache.

I've never had a supernumerary amount of malingers.

Isn't malingering when you fake being sick? I did my share of it early on in elementary school,I'd fake being sick to get out of school. I'd warm my forehead by the lightbulb then tell my mom I had a fever. Even though she took my temp and I didn't have a fever, she might let me stay home that day.
This malingering ended in 4th grade, which was the year I got german measles, chicken pox and regular measles all during the same school year.
When you *have* to stay home, it gets old.

I've learned something today. I didn't need to look up malinger. I knew what it meant. I sometimes institute the "RT66 No Malingering Rule" when too many people are standing around the starting line to clear them out. Than I read Bluewillow's post. I don't think any of them are pretending to be ill. They just want hang around after their car runs to watch others. Now I need another word by tomorrow at 4pm CDT.

I've been cut on in so many places it's easy to find a reason to get out of work. No need to be creative. Nancy, call one of the boys to cut the grass today my shoulder, elbow, foot, chest incision or back is bothering me.

Big Macs and creme brulee for supper. yumo

Never have. If I stayed home I had to work when I was in school! I saw many guys do it in the Army and some had to start boot camp from scratch. That taught me a good lesson!

I've done the "Malinger" thing a couple of times... I called my boss a month in advance and told him that I won't be coming in because I'll be sick on that day..

Sorry, yes I was guilty of being a malinger a couple of times in the past, but I definitely wouldn't do it now.

Todays Question:

Have you ever malingered? Oh, Yes!

What was your most "creative" malinger ? Mental illness (it works everytime )

Who is willing to admit they had to either look up "malinger" or find out from others posts what it means ?
