I'm up between 5 and 6 a.m. everyday. The dogs need to go potty and my internal clock is stuck on that time. Yes, I try to go to bed early so I get enough sleep. Yes, I wake up happy and chatty. I especially love waking up to sunny, blue skied days - that's a real treat!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Good Saturday morning!
Well to tell you the truth I am up every morning between 3-4 and have been doing it for years. Whether it was for work or not....
Nope, I don't go to bed earlier either because it wouldn't matter. I still wake at that time. I'm actually my hb alarm clock! Whenever he has to rise early!
Am I a happy camper? Depends if I get my nap about 3pm! If I do, am always happy....
Ice cream sandwich day.... yummy! Know what I'll be doing all day. I'll be machination it into every meal and snack today!!

I too have an internal clock and I just wake up at 5 am. It doesn't matter what time I go to sleep. I do go to bed by 10pm, but even on those nights when I can't go to bed then (Christmas Eve, and other such days) I still wake up at the same time.
The last time I had to get up eary was when we went on vacation 6 years ago and we had to be at the airport at 4 am. I didn't go to bed any earlier though.
I wake right up and I am a very happy camper.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!!

Other than for work what was the last thing you got up really early for ?
Fishing!
Extra Credit: Do you go to bed earlier when you have the above mentioned planned ?
I should, but I don't .
Bonus question:
Are you a "happy camper" at what I like to call "0-dark 30"
Usually a very happy camper no matter what time it is. I love watching the sun come up and the first hint of light in the East, but I also like the late night quiet. Good thing I only need about 4 hours of sleep to be on top of my "game".

You must be watching my lights. Mrs. cncracer will be coming home tonight after two weeks away helping a friend. I started cleaning last night, and got up at 4:30 today to do the laundry and make sure I had not missed any dust in the house. I started the yard work at 7:30, and finished at 10:00 now I just need to put clean sheets on the bed and do the shopping, and i will be finished.
Would make this longer, but I have to get back to cleaning.
I did not go to bed earlier than normal. If I have a project in front of me I will stay up getting ready or just planning.
That is what makes me a happy camper

Not usually, but I try.
Bonus question:

I am, but the Super Chief is another story in the AM.
