A hunter has a frozen body of what GA Fish & Wildlife has confirmed is a large primate (7 feet 7 inches tall and 550 pounds). DNA testing is ongoing to determine whether it is a species not known to exist

I can't believe the AP and rest of the press actually wastes time on this crap to give a bunch of hillbillies some free publicity so they can rip people off.....
"Messages left for Whitton and Dyer early Friday on their Bigfoot Tipline were not returned. They have so far offered three different tales so far about how they came to find the creature"
"What I've seen so far is not compelling in the least, and I think the pictures cast grave doubts on their claim," Jeffrey Meldrum, a Bigfoot researcher and Idaho State University professor, told the Scientific American. "It just looks like a costume with some fake guts thrown on top for effect."
and from another AP article:
Efforts to reach Whitton and Dyer early Friday on their Bigfoot Tipline were unsuccessful. The voice mail recording says they have expanded their search to look for leprechauns and the Loch Ness monster. They also offer weekend expeditions to search for Bigfoot in the north Georgia mountains for $499.
As a footnote, I do believe that such a creature could exist, but until someone comes forward with definitive evidence, those who make such claims are merely trying to profit. My guess is that these guys are just hucksters...
Wow what a find, gotta go for now though gotta let ET outta the closet, he keeps mumbling something bout calling home
