What's Your Ethnic Background
I just thought it'd be fun to find out the different ethicities.
Me, I'm a mix of English, Scotish, Jewish, and Native American (Lumbie).
My wife, German.

Ah, here we go again. I brought this up some time ago, as I recall. But, we have new folks here, so let's hear about it! I'm a Heinz. Irish, English, Scottish, Welsh, Seminole, with a sprinkling of German and Cherokee. And, that's just what I've found so far in my genealogy research. But, it does make up the bulk of my bloodline. I suspect my Native American ancestors are wishing ardently that they hadn't been quite so willing to trade, marry, etc., with my European ancestors. But, I guess if they hadn't, I wouldn't be here, right?

I'm a lowly halfbreed. Half Norwegian...half Swede. Was a total tow head when I was a kid. Still have the blue eyes...but my blond hair is trying real hard to go grey. As my Dad would say...that's the Swede in you. He's the Norwegian and blames anything on the Swede half!

Pure White Anglo Saxon Protestant here - not of my own doing of course, but we all gotta be something. My sister traced our family history to William The Conquerer. If I had been born a about 8 generations earlier, I guess I would have been a blue blood as I'm a direct descendant of not one, but two of the colonial governors of New Hampshire. I guess the king liked our family back then. They were loyalists during the American revolution and moved to Nova Scotia to get out of harm's way. A much-larger-than-life portrait of one of my ancestors hangs in the state house to this day. My folks, as far back as I knew them, however, were pretty much your average citizens - and I love(d) them all dearly.

My father was Irish/English and my mother is Mexican. On my maternal Grandmother's side our family has been traced back to Juan Ponce de Leon as well as Poncho Villa.

I'm mostly Ukrainian and Polish, with a bit of Lithuanian & other Slavic blood... also 100% Jewish, as far as we know.
People have actually argued with me, insisting I must be part Irish or Scottish - not all redheads are from the Isles! Though I can't trace our history that far, so it's possible an Irishman wooed my great-great-great-grandmother, LOL.

I used to work at a Jewish preschool and there were tons of adorable redheaded children there!
Me, I am English/Scots/Irish. On my dad's side, our ancestor, at the age of 18 sailed from England and arrived in what was to become Old Saybrook, Connecticut in 1635. My mom's people arrived in Colorado from Ireland in the late 1860's.
I was a childhood towhead, now I am a dishwater blonde head with a few white hairs threading in. I come from a family of recessive genes.

I'm German with a smidge of Danish, as my dad used to say.
