Houston does seem to be a possibility in the projected paths of Gustav. Don't watch too long. If you need to bail out of there for a while, we'd rather you be safe and secure!

Today's Question:
Do you have any special plans for the long weekend?
Yes I do! My son turns 2 tomorrow and we are throwing a big birthday bash.
My friend's graduation party is on Sunday and Monday we will be cleaning and baking!
Bonus Question:
Are there any special past "Labor Days" that really stick out in your mind?
My grandparents always used to have the whole family over for Memorial and Labor Day every year. We had big picnics and cookouts. This year my grandparents are moving to Joplin and their house is packed in boxes so we all decided to forgo that tradition this year. It does look like I will be making the 6 hour trip to Joplin this time next year though!
Extra credit Question:
lol I have to ask Did anyone else "forget" ?
Um... I'm not sure what we may have forgotten... I have never forgotten a labor day, nor have I forgotten the labor my mother went through to get me here!
Hope you all have a fun and safe Holiday!!!

Yeah, prayers going up for you guys down that way.
Nope, I don't have any real special plans. My husband said he'd probably grill something on Monday.
No, I don't have any wonderful memories of Labor Days past!
I plan to do some serious sleeping! (Had trouble sleeping this week which is unusual for me.)
Forget it was a holiday week-end?? Not a chance!
Wishing everyone a wonderful & safe week-end~~

After just a day off for the last 3 weeks, I decided to head to the hills for the next 4 days, going camping and fishing.

Not too much special planned here. We live in a very busy summer resort area and Labor Day,July 4th,Mem'l are days locals hibernate! Come Monday roads will empty out considerably.
No -no forgetting here.
To all in Gus and Hannah's paths take heed and stay safe.

We have no special plans and I don't remember ever doing anything special for Labor Day. I kind of forgot....meaning that I knew it was coming up but never really looked at the calendar to see when.
If you are going somewhere please drive carefully and be safe.
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Head for the hills, that's the way to go this weekend. Ah summer's last gasp. Mr. zonababe and I will be staying home this holiday. Maybe I'll wear my "redress"
Whatever you do this weekend be happy and safe. Watch your kids around water and don't drink and drive. Enjoy.

Watch Gustav and Hannah.. for a while I thought that was a movie or some TV show, I didn't know they were tropical storms that have the potential of becoming hurricanes.
I hope they both remain as nothing more than tropical storms.
