Question Various CD Questions

1. How do you give someone a reputation point and leave comments instead of doing the 'quick' reputation?

2. How do you invite someone to become your friend?

3. Why do some members have award ribbons above their reputation points? At first I thought this was directly related to the number of rep points you have but then I noticed a few members with over a thousand rep points and no ribbons.

Ummm...that is all I can think of for now Thanks for satisfying my curiousity!

there is a pic of a scale on the right hand side of the message--click on that and you can leave a message while repping.

Click on the scale symbol at the top right side of the message window.

Click on the person's name, then "View [person's] profile", then go to the "Friends" tab. Somewhere in there there's an option to invite that person to be his/her friend.

I am thinking you mean the gold star by the rep points? You get one at 1800 reps, and another after each additional 1800.
