News, After morning brew, woman finds grounds for a gross-out in her coffee filter: a dead bat.
It wasn't just the caffeine that gave an Iowa woman an extra jolt after she had her morning coffee. It was also the bat she found in the filter.
The Iowa Department of Public Health says the woman reported a bat in her house but wasn't too worried about it. She turned on her automatic coffee maker before bedtime and drank her coffee the next morning.

Her complaint is not groundless. Fangs for the story, John. Right off the bat it caused quite a flap but I knew you could wing it on the fly once you caved in and got the hang of it.

A Bat in the filter... boy that's gotta be an awafully big filter to put a baseball bat in there!  Oh well maybe that woman is a baseball fan, and hopefully not a Yankees fan!
Sorry to all the Yankees fans out there.. 
I think that bat had a Rabid appetite for coffee.. Maybe he should start going to Starbuck's from now on and order their Mocha whatever it's called... I'm sure that's what everybody wants to see.. a bat wired on Starbuck's coffee...

Me thinks, and it sounds like, Mike has left his room and is at Starbucks partaking in some of that bat guanoed rabid yankee coffee and his brains are all wired up whereth he not knoweth where thou room is located, so will someone please show him thy way.  |

Im still trying to figure out how the heck a bat got into her coffee filter thing? Arent those plastic tub things pretty snug?
