Today's Question:
When folks ask "Where are you from?" Do you tell them the place you were born or grew up ? One and the same.
(you do not have to give the city(ies) if you don't want to)
Extra Credit Question:
How far do you live from the place you were born ? 400 miles
Bonus Question:
How many times do you think Mike will be "sent to his room" while I am gone ? My guess, you gone 4 days! 8 times!

Parents said when I was a tyke that I was born on Mars, then settled in the Los Angeles area. Then when I grew up and got some smarts I hitched a wagon train to the Phoenix Arizona.
So I'm about 400 miles from one place and several millions from another.
If Mike is not sent to his room at least a dozen times this week, he'll probably go into a deep depression feeling unloved, or something like that.

I live 14.5 miles from where my parents lived when I was born, but I've traveled all over the country. Hitch hiked a bunch in the 60's.

I generally tell them the place I grew up, and I don't mind saying Colorado Springs. It was a great place to grow up as a kid! Mike will be sent to his room at night every night.

We will be back on Saturday afternoon so everyone "behave" lol well as best as you can till I get back. Because you never know I may pop on once we get to my father-in-laws house and his computer
I had an interesting thought the other day, someone asked "Where are you from?"
So I thought hmm would that be where I was born or considering I have moved 23 time would that be the place I spent the most time or would it be the place right before I moved to FL
So of course you all just know that this had to become

[FONT="Georgia"I usually tell people where I grew up, lived most of my life. My dad was in civil service so we were always moving, never really settled. But I didnt mind it, always made new friends, got to see new places, knowing theres more to live than one area, its a big world. Im about half a state away from where I was born. [/font] As far as Mike staying out of his room, we all know he likes it there, so Id have to say no, he wont manage to stay out.
