Is there a "lost cause" that you've ever fought for? What was it? Did you win?
Yes, with the IRS. I was persistant and I did win.
Extra Credit Question:
Have you ever made someone an offer they couldn't refuse?
Sure, and I usually come out on the "short side" cuz I'm a nice guy.
Bonus Question:
What teacher had the greatest impact on your life?
Mr. Robinson, he suspended me from HS and I proved him wrong.
Extra Bonus Question:
Is it safe to go back into the water where you live?
Sure.

Hi Charley!
A lost cause? It might not even be a cause in anyone else' book but it is in mine. I have a soft spot for animals. We lived for a while where the dumping of unwanted animals was the palce to do it. In that time, we took in, fed, cared for and adopted out over 37 cats and I don't know how many litters of kittens. When we moved, we took the remaining with us and they're still living happy, healthy lives. Relax, there's only 3 of them left! LOL! I'll never stop fighting for the well being of animals. I'll never stop believing that owning a pet is a privilege not a right and I'll never stop being the voice for those that don't have one. Have I won that battle? Look around... still see stupid humans every where?!?!
I guess I have made someone an offer they couldn't refuse! And he married me and is more in love with me now than then in the beginning.
Sadly, I had no teachers that impacted my life or taught me anything. I had teachers that were all about the money (or lack of) and didn't inspire me to do diddily-squat. Proud to say, I did it all on my own and I don't give one ounce of credit to any teacher I ever had. Sad, huh?!?!
And since I don't know how to swim, I never go in the water! LOL!

On the teachers that had a great impact on me... well.. I don't know if you want to call it an impact, but I remember getting sent down to the principle's office in grade school by a couple of teachers, so you can see I had an early start in getting sent somewhere!
In high school. .. Hmm.. Mrs. Campbell was my English teacher in my freshman year, she had an impact on me, and as a result, I had a crush on her! She was an attractive gal in her mid to late 20's.. and I was 14-15 at the time.. - I can't remember, but I think she was also married.. oh well.
Another high school teacher that had good a impact on me was Mr. Draper, he was my Algebra and Geometry teacher.

Is there a "lost cause" that you've ever fought for?
Yes I thought it was, my daughter.
Did you win?
I don't know if you would say I won but God did.
Extra Credit Question:
Have you ever made someone an offer they couldn't refuse?
Yes
What teacher had the greatest impact on your life?
A Sunday school teacher that told me I couldn't sit on the fence.
(serve God and satan too) I had to be on one side or the other.
Is it safe to go back into the water where you live?
Not real sure. Has it gotten cold enough to cause the alligator to die?
Good questions Charley!

Today's Question:
["Mr. Smith Goes To Washington"] Is there a "lost cause" that you've ever fought for? What was it? Did you win?
I'm too competative to tilt against windmills. I like winning too much to fight for lost caused.
Extra Credit Question:
["The Godfather"] Have you ever made someone an offer they couldn't refuse?
Unless you count proposing to my wife 40 years ago I would have to say no.
Bonus Question:
["Stand and Deliver"] What teacher had the greatest impact on your life?
I absolutely hated school and teachers were a part of school. The only impact they had was to reinforce my dislike.
Extra Bonus Question:
["Jaws"] Is it safe to go back into the water where you live?
A better question would be "Is it safe for you to answer another ?OD"? I feel like today was display your weaknesses day.
