Karla, this is the internet. This is the one place you can lie about your age and the majority of us would have no clue. So I'll pretend that you're 30 and you don't look a day over 25.
I really haven't had to many exciting birthdays. I'm sure part of that is because I don't really want people to make a big deal of it. So, I'm going to go with my 16th birthday because I got to drive.
Last time I wore a birthday hat was last March for my niece and nephews birthdays. I wore Hannah Montana and Cars, very stylish.
A birthday tradition I had growing up was that I would get a Dairy Queen Ice cream cake. The funny thing was our local Dairy queen closed every winter for a couple weeks during my birthday, so I would get my cake early, but my mom would put it in the freezer till my birthday.

Birthdays...
Happy Birthday, Karla, and may you have a very blessed year!
I don't know. I have had some good birthdays. I would probably say when I turned 13. I was excited to be a teen-ager! My parents gave me a sign to put on the door to my room that said:
ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK.
A TEEN-AGER LIVES HERE.
I just thought that was so cool! And I had a slumber party with my friends that night.
Like tpabes said, 16 was also a very good one because I got my driver's license that day!
Party hats?? Probably when my son was little and having a birthday.
Traditions?? Besides the obligatory cake, I can't remember any. Just the usual good stuff~cake and ice cream, presents and a b-day party with friends.

Haven't used or even thought about carbon paper in years! Do you realize there will come a time that someone will ask what it is, or was?
