I remember distinctly when my mother drove home with a brand new 52 Henry-J and the color was that diaper yellow and I said I'm not riding in that pile o ****e. We only had it for about a year or so as it turned out to be a lemon of sorts and traded it in for I beleive was a Chevy Impala.
Stude, I always like the Studebaker. I think it was ahead of it's time.

With a few exceptions, most cars that were built from 1974, through 1982 were garbage. I love Mustangs, but you can't even give me the ones that were built from 1974 through 1978, which looked like large Pintos! These Mustangs were a joke, and a disgrace to the name!

I agree about the late 60's and early 70's era for cars that really kicked butt !!!
My first car ever in was 1985 as it was a 72 Chevy Nova with a 454 olds engine and it always ran a tad hot as we couldn't place the correct size Radiator in it for that size block and the car was painted Candy Apple Red as it was Da Bomb . I had ladies kicking all over me to cruise in that Sport Car back in the day .

I never owned one but my favorite:
...The Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR, it was a sports racing car in 1955. The coupe model with the 'gullwing' doors. I loved it.
Then my 1948 Pontiac that I could race on 1/4 mile tracks and even beat some stick shifts.

'69 Ford Falcon. My dad bought it in '69 off the showroom floor for $3,000. It was probably the best investment he ever made because after he died, I inherited it and drove it for another 20 years.
That car taught me a whole lot about cars, about engines and about dependability.

I just sold my two model T Fords. Been driving them 4 or 5 years. Good times. I still own a 68 chev pickup I've been driving 18 years now.

I absolutely love Bel-Aires... They are my favorite classic cars from the 50's and such. Although it's not a classic (yet), I also love 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Broughams (two door).

Rance... oh, what beautiful Model T's. You must have hated to part with them. Your trucks pretty sharp also.

I lost my cherry to a little tart named Mara Chino, a cobbler's daughter, in the back seat of a '57 Chevy. She seemed apeeling at the time. It was easy as pie yet somehow she thought the experience was the pits. She even called me a fruit after I got her top down. I shouldn't have been so juiced up. Would jubilee it? Bing there, done that.
