Paint Color Preference~~ I like a neutral "tan-ish" color for most walls. I also like pastels~ yellow for a kitchen, pale blue for bedroom. Our house is actually painted kind of a dark beige throughout. I would have preferred a tad darker but that didn't seem to jive with our carpet which had a pinkish tone to the beige.
Biggest color mistake?~~ I guess when we painted the bedroom a light blue, but it had more "green" in it than I wanted. I was looking for a "cooler" more grey-blue. It stayed that way several years till it needed re-painting. The next time we got the "blue" right!

Sweater weather? 50's I guess. Of course, I drag around a sweater to restaurants in all seasons because in Texas, many places are cold due to over air-conditioning! Generally, prefer sweater to a light jacket.

Today's Question(s)

What is your preference for Interior paint. Bright, pastel deep tones or two tone?
I have changed all walls in all bedrooms to white. We are too old to paint any more so I change rooms with decorations inside the room.
The rest of the house has paneling and wallpaper.

Extra Credit Question:

What was your biggest paint color "oops !!!" and in what room? How long did you "endure it" before you repainted?
We painted the family room in our first bought house a "light" yellow. It didn't turn out too "light." That may be why we sold the house! We went to a condo at Myrtle Beach last Spring that was about the same color of yellow in the living area. I said, "Oh no, we have to look at these walls for a week." It got full sun and those walls screamed at me all week.

Bonus Question:

What do you consider Sweater weather? 50 or 60 degrees
Do you really wear a sweater or do you go for the light jacket? Both

Extra Bonus Question

Giving blood yay or nay? I am not healthy enough and that is sad because my blood is rare.

Today's Question(s)

I really like neutrals! Like Sage, beige, tan, greys, anything calming, I also like blues!

Extra Credit Question:

What was your biggest paint color "oops !!!" and in what room? How long did you "endure it" before you repainted?

Well, I sponge painted my son's room 3 different shades of blue, it looks great, except we couldn't figure out how to get the corners to match the rest of the room. It is still painted this way. We are planning on changing it here pretty soon before we sell our house in the next 2 years.

Bonus Question:

What do you consider Sweater weather?
Do you really wear a sweater or do you go for the light jacket?
I like hoodies! (Hooded sweatshirts) or light jackets, I have 3 leather jackets and a few nike jackets that I wear when I jog.
Extra Bonus Question

Giving blood yay or nay ?

I've given blood a few times. The first time I did it I was 17 and I was only 100 lbs (you are supposed to be at least 115lbs if you are my height (5'7"), so I wound up passing out. After that I haven't had any problems though!

My favorite paint colors are in the buttery yellow to navajo white family. My family room is aqua. The ceiling should always be white.

No paint oops for me, I bought red paint but never used it.

Cold mornings in the low 60's sweater weather in the house! Outside I'll wear a light jacket.

Looks like today is, "Everyone Have a Great Day" day!

I prefer pastel colors and two tone is a good thing. Dark is a good thing for my sensitivity to light, but not as radical about it as I have been....

My biggest paint blunder was burnt orange on the walls and chocolate brown on the ceiling. I was in a corner bedroom with 2 windows and got sunlight most of the day as well as the brightest of sunrises every day. I wanted a darker room to help me sleep longer and be able to nap during the day. Well, this certainly made the bright room darker! I was young, it was my mom's house and when I left home, it was still that color. I think she endured it another 12 years before repainting it. She wanted me to be comfortable if I returned home for any reason. I never admitted it was a blunder.

50 is sweater weather. I like sweaters but sometimes I'll just cheat and wear a sweatshirt.

Yay! I give blood whenever I get the chance. No faster way to lose one pound! You know the saying, "a pint is a pound the world around." You betcha!

A sweater in Phoenix - That's a July day, when the high temperature can reach 118 degrees.. Stand outside for about 30 minutes with no shirt on.... err... if you're a man that is! and you'll sweat! that's why I call the hottest days in the summer (about a week or so) Sweaters!

But again, it's a dry heat!

When it comes to paint... I'm a neutral kinda gal. Neutral browns with nice white accents. Mmmm.... and some rooms are a mix of neutrals like a light brown with large, floor to ceiling diamonds painted on in a brown 2 shades darker (if that makes sense). I love the colors that a store called Restoration Hardware sells. I buy the little sample cans and then take them to a bigger store (like a Home Depot or Lowe's and have them color match it for me).

I once painted one of the bathrooms a yellow that was a little too yellow. I lived with it for a week before my OCD had me running to Lowe's. It's now painted a soothing spa 'ish color that's like a yellowish-green.

Sweaters, I love! When the weather dips into the low 60's.. I pull the sweaters out!

And I'd give blood, but I'm told I don't weight enough. From what I was told by the local blood bank, the minimum weight is 110 lb. I miss that by 10 lbs. But if I did weigh enough, sure, I'd give blood.

Paint colors are neutral now. In the spring, I'd like to paint brighter colors. I like colorful and not much into light pastels. Haven't had a color oops yet as the only time I've painted, the color was white in order to help sell the house we were in.
Sweater weather would be in the mornings here in the 40's. I don't care for heavy coats and jackets.
Giving blood or having bloodwork done, apparently if one is a redhead, fairskinned and living in a high altitude, it's difficult to draw blood from these types of people so they (meaning me) must go to a lower altitude town to get bloodwork done.
