Are you ready or getting ready for Valentines Day? How many sweethearts do you acknowledge on the 14th? And what do you do: cards, candy, flowers, etc? Don’t tell us if it’s too embarrassing there are some things that fall into the category of too much information.
My personal thoughts are if anyone is sending Mike something for Valentines Day it should include bullets (I don’t know what size is his favorite) but I’m sure he’d enjoy them more then a card. bang bang
Nothing, absolutely nothing, just like Birthdays and Sweetest Day. Sorry to sound unromantic, but me and my husband just don't celebrate like when we were dating. It is such a waste of money for us.
But anyway, AksarbeN, hope you and the Mrs. have a wonderful v-day.

How's that for romantic?! Jives with the concept of "dating" though... I consider Valentine's Day a romantic holiday and couples' holiday (I'm not going into the debate whether it's Hallmark's holiday or not... ) and can't relate to including friends, other family, children and whatnot in it... Has it always been like this in the past?
The mister and I acknowledge valentine's day with a card...sometimes a nice dinner but it's so close to our wedding anniversary, we generally wait til that day and then celebrate with lots of love.
LOL... Thank you MJB, as painful as "shooting an eye out" is, if somebody handles a firearm in unsafe manner, they're definitely going to shoot a lot more than an eye out!
I know somebody posted a thread here a few days ago about a guy that attempted to rob a store and ended up shooting himself in his... manhood! I guess that ruined his Valentines plans!
Valentine's Day will mark our 19th wedding anniversary. We pretty much ignore the commercial aspects of the holiday anymore... But will go out for dinnner on the following Friday (actually, EVERY Friday is our "Date Night")
Mrs AksarbeN gets a card, no candy, no flowers, and not much of anything else, only because we have Valentines Day everyday. We generally keep our Friday night or Saturday night as date night over the past 38 years now. However I try and never forget the card ~ it’s keeping me out of trouble with her most of the time.
