No wedding reception is complete without one “flying Dutchman” dance, typically played at ethnic weddings of Polish and mid-European heritages. This is one of those family functions were someone almost always gets killed on the dance floor.

It’s an interesting twist on the polka where everyone is in a circle changing partners and things get to going faster and faster ~ usually no one get seriously injured but accidents do happen and with so many people drinking it’s almost a guarantee that someone will end up “flying” out of the circle and into a wall, table, or window.
