I live in the country. Way too far between houses for little witches and goblins. Poor little things would be exhausted by the time they walked to the next house.
But when I lived in the city I kept a big bowl of pennies. Little ones get two handfuls. Big ones only get one. At the time people were concerned about wierdos putting stuff in the candy so a lot of it got tossed. I figured money would be less of a hassle for me and the parents.

Back to the topic, please remember, do not get a pet peeve unless you can take care of it responsibly. Pet peeves often take a lot of time and can be expensive. Do not get one unless you can give it the care, love and affection it deserves. Please.
