spiritual beings forever
It is not so important for how our bodies are cared for after death that is important. Funerals are for the living, a way to remember who you were and what you did in life. They then want to make a small monument or headstone to keep a record for years to come, but just who will visit that headstone, who will remember you went your gone for 25 or 50 years? Life for others always moves on and they become forgetful or busy and they never stop by to visit the headstone again. Sad,,, but for the most part true.
We do cherish the memories of our family and friends who have passed on. I don’t believe there is a day that goes by that I don’t think back about most each and every one of them.
Our “spirits” move on only our body is dead. Death isn’t a sad moment in a persons life it’s more of a happy moment that “they” (their spirits) are free from all of our earthly problems. We’re only sad because we’ll miss their being here with us. However I continue to spend each day remembering them, they are always with me in thought. That’s important ~ keeping someone alive in memory.
As for my body,,, give it to medical science ~ where others might be able to use an organ or learn more from my physical being ~ my spiritual being is free at last.
