LOL Livewire, I tried to rep you, but I have to spread it around first! I just wanted to tell you that for years my mom used brown paper grocery bags and the funnies from the newspaper to wrap gifts. I loved it!

We don't let it get to us. No kids so no major shopping. Gifts will be gift cards for the most part.
We recycle shopping bags and trade them every year. Wrapped gifts are placed into the shopping bags. We use more wrapping paper.
No Nativity scene but I'm starting to enjoy those Old fashioned Christmas village scenes as I grow older. Our winter place so small we only have room for a small tree.
Egg Nog, I think I'll pass. Hubby will drink mine.

I try to take things one moment at a time and not worry about tomorrow.
I usually do more gift bags.
I have a LOT of Nativity scenes, I love them.
Egg Nog.....YES!!!!! I got some pumpkin egg nog that is GREAT. My husband mixes it with skim milk to make it less fattening, maybe you can try that Charlie

During the hectic season that is about to be upon us, what will you do to, relax or lol what I like to call "regain your sanity" ? I am not sure why anyone considers this time of year to be hectic. All days look alike to me.
Which do you use more of paper & tape or gift bags ? Neither. Hand made "presents" tend to just appear at the recipients' location. I'm sneaky that way.
Do you have a Nativity scene? No
Egg Nog yay or Nay ? Drinking some now. Lovely refreshment!

Every year without fail we share a large bottle of Bailey's and babble at each other. It's a lot of fun and relieves a ton of stress.

Happy Monday folks, hope everyone has a great week.
Today's Question:
During the hectic season that is about to be upon us, what will you do to, relax or lol what I like to call "regain your sanity"?
Definately a bit of sanity to regain this year. I'll just be lazing around playing my guitars, listening to music and going out for a curry with friends occasionally. Ooh, sounds like.... pretty much every weekend to me. Still needed though.
Bonus Question:
Yesterday we touched on gift wrapping so,
Which do you use more of paper & tape or gift bags?
Paper and tape. I'm pretty bad at gift-wrapping but practice makes perfect.
Extra Credit Question:
Do you have a Nativity scene?
Yup. Baby Jesus has a scar on his abdomen where I accidentally broke him in half when I was little though.
Extra Bonus Question:
Egg Nog yay or Nay?
I've never actually but just the description makes me feel queasy.

What to do to unwind?
I have to go with what a lot of other said about just looking at the tree or fireplace and listening to Christmas music.
Gift bags or paper?
Mostly gift bags because they save time. But I do wrap some gifts just cuz it
look nice!
Nativity Scene?
Yes, I have a Willow Tree one my husband has given me. I also have a smaller one with just Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus which I have in the den.
Eggnog?
yes!
